Tokyo, September 20, 2007<\/span> -Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ), a division of
\nSony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) responsible for business operations in Japan,
\nannounced the opening of PLAYSTATION\u00aeStore via PC for PSP\u00ae (PlayStation\u00aePortable)
\nusers beginning today, Thursday, September 21st, 2007 for the Japanese market. This new
\nservice allows PSP users to download PLAYSTATION\u00aeNetwork content via PC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nThis new content sales and delivery service allows PSP users to easily download
\nand enjoy a wide variety of exciting PLAYSTATION Network content via PC, including
\ndownloadable games, free game demos, \u201cGame Archives\u201d titles offering classic PlayStation\u00ae
\ntitles for PSP, as well as add-on game items, promotion videos and content for \u201cTheme
\nSetting\u201d, allowing customization of home menu color, background, icons of XMB\u2122
\n(XrossMediaBar).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\nPLAYSTATION Store on PC is available on PlayStation.com(Japan)
\n(http:\/\/www.jp.playstation.com\/<\/a>). PSP users are requested to have their own PLAYSTATION
\nNetwork account to enjoy the service, which can be easily obtained by registering via the PC
\nwebsite or may use the same PLAYSTATION Network account information used for PS3.
\nUsers will then be able to download their favorite content to PSP\u2019s Memory Stick\u2122 Duo, by
\nconnecting the PSP system to the PC via USB cable.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
