\nTokyo, January 9, 2008 <\/span>\u2013 Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ), a division of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) responsible for business operations in Japan, today announced that it would release PSP\u00ae (PlayStation\u00aePortable) handheld entertainment system in a new \u201cMint Green\u201d color. Beginning Thursday, February 28th, 2008, \u201cMint Green\u201d will become available at a recommended retail price of 19,800 yen (including tax).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n\u201cMint Green\u201d is offered as an additional new color to the popular \u201cBlume series\u201d<\/a> , favored especially by the female users. With a lineup of seven different color variations, users will be able to choose from a broader selection of colors to match their lifestyles and preferences.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nGoing into 2008, more exciting new software titles for PSP will become available from third party licensees as well as SCE Worldwide Studios, including \u201cMONSTER HUNTER PORTABLE\u00ae 2nd G\u201d (CAPCOM CO., LTD.), \u201cWARRIORS OROCHI\u201d (KOEI Co., Ltd.), \u201cWORLD SOCCER Winning Eleven UBIQUITOUS EVOLUTION 2008\u201d (Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.), \u201cMobile suits Gundam; Gihren\u2019s Greed. The fear of Axis\u201d (NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc.), \u201cCoded Soul\u201d, \u201cMyStylist\u201d and \u201cechochrome\u201d (SCE WWS). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nSCEJ will continue to expand the PSP platform and create a new world of computer entertainment with this new color offering and more attractive game software titles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
