\nTokyo, February 5, 2008<\/span>\u2013 Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ), a division of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) responsible for business operations in Japan, today announced that it would introduce \u201cPLAYSTATION\u00ae3 the Best\u201d series and release five titles as the first \u201cPLAYSTATION 3 the Best\u201d series titles on March 19th, 2008.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cPLAYSTATION 3 the Best\u201d is introduced to provide an opportunity for more and more PS3 users to enjoy innovative and exciting PS3 titles at a more affordable price. It will come in a familiar package design common with the existing \u201cPlayStation\u00ae2 the Best\u201d and \u201cPSP\u00ae the Best\u201d series. From among a variety of more than 70 disc based software titles for PS3 released to date in the Japanese market since the system\u2019s launch in November 2006, \u201cFolklore\u201d(SCE WWS), \u201cRESISTANCE: Fall of Man\u201d (SCE WWS), \u201cNINJA GAIDEN \u03a3\u201d \uff08TECMO,LTD.\uff09, \u201cMOBILE SUIT GUNDAM Target in Sight\u201d\uff08NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc.\uff09,and \u201cRIDGE RACER 7\u201d\uff08NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc.\uff09have been selected.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
