\nLos Angeles, Calif., June 2, 2009<\/span>\u2013 Sony Computer Entertainment America, Inc. (SCEA)
\nannounced today major enhancements to PlayStation\u00aeNetwork, expanding on SCEA\u2019s
\ncommitment to give users a comprehensive entertainment experience. The video delivery
\nservice for the PSP\u00ae (PlayStation\u00ae Portable) system launches today in coordination with a
\nnew line-up of premier Hollywood, Anime and Sports partners. In addition, Media Go, a free
\napplication that makes it easier to manage digital content including games, photos, videos and
\nmusic for the PSP system through a PC will also become available. These enhancements give
\nnew entertainment possibilities for PSP system owners, providing direct downloadable access
\nto games, demos and trailers, as well as movies and television shows via the
\nPlayStation\u00aeStore on PlayStation Network. New game content will also be added to an
\nexisting library of more than 200 downloadable games on the PlayStation Store today,
\nincluding much anticipated titles Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake, Gravity Crash\u2122, Hustle
\nKings\u2122 and more than 60 PS one\u00ae Classics hitting the PlayStation Store by the end of the year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\nadd new content partners such as Showtime, G4 & E!, Magnolia Films, and TNA to our family.
\nIn addition to extending our content offerings and expanding with new features like Media Go,
\nwe continue to bring relevant and compelling content via original games and programming to

\n\u201cGamers will be pleased to find new games for all genres and interests with original titles Fat
\nPrincess and Gravity Crash, in addition to many PS one Classics such as Final Fantasy VII

\n

Video Delivery Service<\/h2>\n

PSP system users now have direct access to PlayStation Network\u2019s video delivery
\nservice, where they can download their favorite movie and television programs and take with
\nthem on-the-go. In addition, the video delivery service is announcing content from 16 new
\npremier partners in Hollywood, anime and sports. Hollywood content partners include
\nShowtime Networks Inc., Starz Media, \u2013 for Film, TV and Manga Anime, G4 and E!, Summit
\nEntertainment, The Weinstein Company, HDnet and Magnolia Pictures. Anime partners
\ninclude, Anime Network, Media Blasters, Right Stuf’s Nozomi Entertainment, Starz Media\u2019s
\nManga Entertainment, Toei Animation, Viz Media and WEP. FUNimation Entertainment will
\nalso be a part of a new anime category on the video delivery service. Sports partners include
\nHDNet Fights, UFC, Wrestling from TNA and Video Action Sports.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Premier Hollywood content will include hit films such as Overture Films \u201cRighteous
\nKill,\u201d Summit Entertainment \u201cTwilight\u201d and The Weinstein Company \u201cZack & Miri Make a
\nPorno.\u201d PlayStation Store will also feature TV shows such as Showtime Networks Inc.\u2019s
\n\u201cDexter,\u201d E!\u2019s \u201cThe Soup,\u201d G4\u2019s \u201cX-Play\u201d and Starz Media\u2019s \u201cPainkiller Jane.\u201d A new anime
\nchannel will also launch in both the TV and film sections of the video store and will feature the
\nbest in anime content, including Anime Network\u2019s \u201cAppleseed,\u201d Starz Media Manga
\nEntertainment\u2019s \u201cDead Space.\u201d Toei Animation\u2019s \u201cFist of the North Star,\u201d Viz Media\u2019s
\n\u201cNaruto\u201d and WEP\u2019s \u201cVoltron.\u201d Some of the new sports content will include bouts from
\nHDNet Fight\u2019s \u201cInside MMA,\u201d wrestling from TNA\u2019s \u201ciMPACT!,\u201d UFC PPV events and
\nVideo Action Sports\u2019 \u201cThat\u2019s It, That\u2019s All.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

With the addition of these new partners, the video delivery service will have nearly
\n1900 movies and 9400 TV episodes, covering reality, mixed martial arts, sports, anime, manga
\nand animation genres. For one price, PlayStation users can watch standard definition (SD)
\nvideo content from the comfort of their home television on the PS3 system or at their
\nconvenience on-the-go with the PSP system. PlayStation Store offers a combined total of
\nnearly 9,000 hours of video content, with more than 35 % percent of the movies in High
\nDefinition. Through the PS3 and PSP systems users can access a unique three-in-one
\nentertainment package unlike any other \u2013 the ability to enjoy high-definition Blu-ray movies,
\ngroundbreaking games, and downloadable video content from one platform and one service.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

With the launch of the video delivery service for the PSP system, Media Manager for PC is
\nbeing replaced with Media Go. Media Go is a free application that makes it easier and more
\nconvenient for consumers to manage their PSP games, photos, videos and music on their PC
\nand provides access to PlayStation Store.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Games<\/h2>\n

Several PlayStation Network titles for both the PS3 and PSP systems were announced
\nat E3, adding to the robust lineup of over 200 downloadable games available for PlayStation
\nStore. For the PS3 system, Gravity Crash from developer Just Add Water melds a vintage
\ngravity based arcade shooter with High Definition (HD) graphics, and Hustle Kings, from
\nVooFoo Studios, is the PS3 system\u2019s first photorealistic billiards simulator. For the PSP
\nsystem, Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake brings a fun and strategic medieval battle royale unlike
\nanything seen before on the portable system. In addition, the PlayStation Store will deliver
\nmore than 60 PS one Classics by the end of the year and will launch Final Fantasy VII and
\nMedal of Honor on PlayStation Store today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Starting this fall, many PSP titles that will be launched on UMD will also be offered
\ndigitally on PlayStation Store in North America. This will add nearly 300 games from the PSP
\nsystem\u2019s library available for download through PlayStation Network.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
