(SCEI) announced today that it would set a new suggested retail price of JPY 18,000 for \u201cPS one\u00ae &amp; LCD Monitor COMBO\u201d (Combo) beginning May 16th, 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"sie-paragraph\">With the worldwide cumulative shipments achieving over 90 million units, PlayStation continues to be supported by customers as the world\u2019s largest game platform. Combo has been introduced to the market in the fall of 2001 to enjoy the world of PlayStation not only in homes but also in cars, at friends\u2019 homes and during travel, and is highly valued by its users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"sie-paragraph\">With new and more affordable price, the world of PlayStation is brought even closer to hand.
