“PlayStation®Vita SOUL SACRIFICE PREMIUM EDITION” Will Be Launched for A Limited Offer, Concurrently with the Release of the Software Title

Tokyo, December 3, 2012– Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ), a division of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. responsible for business operations in Japan, today announced that the SOUL SACRIFICE software title for PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita), will be released on March 7, 2013. Concurrently with the release of the software title, SCEJ will launch a “PlayStation®Vita SOUL SACRIFICE PREMIUM EDITION” bundle pack which will include the special version of PS Vita system, the SOUL SACRIFICE software title and a set of specially designed accessories. Additionally, the “SOUL SACRIFICE double pack for Co-op Play” which will come with two SOUL SACRIFICE software titles (PS Vita card version) will also be introduced on the same day. The bundle pack and the double pack will be available for a limited offer at a recommended retail price of 29,980 and 7,980 yen respectively (including tax).
The “PS Vita SOUL SACRIFICE PREMIUM EDITION ” will consist of a special version of the PS Vita system in a “cosmic red” color depicting the sorcerer featured in the title, the SOUL SACRIFICE software title (PS Vita card version), a set of useful accessories (pouch/cleaning cloth/strap) with a special design representing the world of SOUL SACRIFICE, an inner ear headset suitable for voice chatting and a 4GB Memory card. Along with exclusive benefits offered by the “PS Vita SOUL SACRIFICE PREMIUM EDITION”, users will be able to fully enjoy the world of SOUL SACRIFICE.
Another great starter pack for those who wish to enjoy multiplayer mode of the title with their friends is the “SOUL SACRIFICE double pack for Co-op Play”, which will be offered at a more reasonable price point lower than that of being charged for purchasing the two regular software packages.

Towards the launch of SOUL SACRIFICE that will break new ground for “multiplayer action”, SCEJ will continue to deploy various measures with the aim of further accelerating the expansion of the PS Vita platform.
